Already really enjoying this.
So dense in themes of race, gender, class, religion, familial & sexual & romantic relationships etc. but it all feels to gracefully interwoven through Baldwin’s use of the child narrator (which obviously I geek out about, that being the thesis of my ADV H English dissertation lol).
Got so many ideas for a comparative essay of this & To Kill a Mockingbird!!!
