This book is already addictive. Originally I looked forward most to the analyses of the literary works in this biography, ofc not discounting the contextualization, but hearing the stories of dostoevskys editorial activity, squabbles in the press, and his life generally has such a profoundly vivid character under Franks pen, that this is the main story, not really disentanglable from his work.
