The Clocks is a classic murder mystery in the spirit of Agatha Christie.
The story follows Sheila Webb, a typist with the Cavendish Secretarial Bureau as she discovers a dead man in the house of Miss Millicent Pebmarsh, a blind teacher and inhabitant of 19 Wilbraham Crescent.
The story is switching partially to the first person narrative, which I cannot say I am fond of.
