I am trying so hard with the FMC here. But god damn it's one thing to have a healthy amount of paranoia and another to spin yourself around in circles because of your own inherent biases. Also, she latches onto whatever theory works and it HAS to be right 😮💨 Ma'am you've been assuming things since chapter 1, ffs.

Navessa Allen's wit and prose shine through in her banter and the way the plot is narrated; I love the personalities she gives to her characters. She gives them more than just a name and a part in the plot; their involvement brings the plot to life, in fact. I'm quite engaged in the mystery of what's going on and who is behind it, so much so that I'm more invested in that than the developing relationship of the MCs.
