It’s not a bad book by any means, and I enjoyed some parts. However, I was able to guess the plot twists and some of the writing felt mundane.
SPOILERS:
I did NOT like the scene where she made him pull a tooth out of his mouth. It’s definitely a personal thing but made my stomach churn and not in a good way. I guess that speaks to the writing, but still.
