Reading this for a book club and feeling very “meh” about it. I’ve wanted to stop a few times because I find the “spunky twenty-something who swears so you know she’s cool” perspective to be grating. The writing style is disengaging because I feel like I’m reading a teenager’s diary. Maybe I’m being too harsh. As always, I wish it was more fucked up.
