Finished Pt. One: Welcome. So far a very good read. Things i’m enjoying:
• main character’s voice -distinct & has a certain flavour to it that i like
• writing style -descriptive & artfully describes what the mc is feeling; is engaging by showing more not telling
I loooove how i’m getting to know how the character is by not being told about it but by reading about the way this character thinks. (1/2)

“My head & shoulders melted first, followed by my hips & knees. Before long i was a puddle, soaking into the pretty cotton prints. I drenched the quilt she never finished, rusted the metal parts of her sewing machine. I was pure liquid loss then, for an hour or two… Gone forever, though i could smell her Chanel perfume on the fabrics.” What a beautiful way to describes grieving🥲
