This book is very poetic. I kind of get the hype around this. But as I continue reading it, it just doesn't give me the kick I expected it to. Hmm. The vignettes were cool and atmospheric at first but it gets tiring as I read it.

DNFing. Not feeling this book at all. Doesn’t connect with me. The writing is beautiful and flowery but it gets excessive as I continue to read it. Feels like a poem being stretched out in order to market it as a novel. I MIGHT pick it up again in the future.
