You know, it's from pages past, but it just occurred to me. Jordan and Ari Senior were like mirrors of each other in ego. I'm not sure if Ari Senior was quite as self-centered as he is, but The working Ari did on Justin that Giraud showed Jordan must have felt like Ari had done it to him since Justin is his genetic replicate. Perhaps that also fuels his rage at Ari Jr. who wasn't even alive yet. Transference.
