So if Brennan is alive what did Naolin end up losing? Because earlier on in the book it talks about during the war Noalin tries to save Brennan and bring him back to life, but it didn’t work and ‘cost him everything’ - but it doesn’t specifically state it cost him his life. His soul perhaps…?

In chapter 32, the heading says ‘…the children of the executed officers, they now carry what shall be known as the rebellion relic, transferred by the dragon who carried out the king’s justice’
But then here Xaden says the relic hides them from Melgrens ability to see them, why would the dragons hide the innocents from a powerful leader on ‘their side?’ - was Melgren bonded after this? Seems odd?

Here Professor Kaori says that Tairn’s last rider was a siphon who ended up dying trying to resurrect her brother Brennan but it didn’t work because he was too far gone and got burn out?
But we know he was actually successful later on, so did he really end up dying to begin with?
Could he have become something else?
