I HATE the whole “let’s treat this person like complete shit bc they decided to walk away from a relationship they knew would end badly if they continued” trope. Alana knows her life would have been hell had Cal stuck around, bc of his mental health and issues at the time, but still continue to treat him like shit. Letting everyone else join her. Pisses me off. Grow up.
