After reading page 1 to 13 then continuing onto page 22 I found that Wendy is slowly learning her old friends background story. He keeps talking about being in the laboratories in Moscow, Russia but what exactly is he looking at? Since he's in Moscow that means he's a native right? And why the plural of laboratories? Why doesn't he just stay in one to find results in his tests?
