Enjoying this story. Even though I haven’t a clue whodunnit and why. Lots of clues. Some vague feelings of who it could be, but though I’ve been verbalizing and remembering most details, I’m not sure at all. The book is almost done, too.

I guessed part of the motivation and the role of who but not the who and full reasons. Really cool twisty mystery. I enjoy the details; they make the visuals easy to see and bring the characters and places alive.

I’ve decided I’m partial to books with dog companions or guardians. Or cats. I gotta give my protagonist Charlotte Elisabeth a dog companion in novel 3. Now what shall it be? Hmmm. She liked Greeter in novel 1, but should her companion be the same breed? No, I see one…tougher, bossier, like my lab mix. Anyway, throughly enjoying this mystery, including verbalizing it.
