It's going really slow, cause there are so many stories and descriptions of peripheral stories and characters. So in a few words: plots within a plot. One should definitely take the most of the time in the world to read Dostoyevsky. You cannot just unfocus and still grasp the whole thing. Nothing is predictable. This book requires a remarkable attention span, otherwise one would abandon reading it within 2 chapters.
