VE Schwab's previous works have not impressed me, but this book sounded like it could be good, so I was kind of interested in this one, but this sounds hilarious. Why is it TVA fanfic?? Victoria?? Ma'am??

Victoria?? ..."Schwab can also be really hit-or-miss for me, but I really loved Vicious, so I keep trying lol. Not really vibing with this one, though. Schwab is really in love with her own prose; it says so much and literally nothing at the same time. Also just practically copy-pasting TVA characters is kinda insanely funny and unserious?
Also, like, an actual character is even named AlessandrA in TVA/other VC books. Lol.
