It was slow going after *main event of book* but I'm genuinely starting to like not only the plot but the characters. I absolutely love the world that Maas built in this book. And it's interesting to see some of the fey culture from the ACOTAR series tied in. The chimera and the little flame chick that guards the books are nice touches. And the author knows how to write 20-something bratty party girls.

I'm completely in love with this world. I'm not as into the main female character as I'd like to be. I think I like Hunt better. I have a suspicion that the two of them might hook up later in the book, or at least that'd be interesting. Anywho, there's elves, humans, angels, demons, witches, werewolves, and everything in between in this world and magic abound.
