I am in the absolute trenches with this book. It's hard to stomach through the weirdly forced love of a man in his 30s and a teenager. this series began with such an amazing premise and world building that I'm forcing myself to see it through. Also a whole chapter of mc dying over a kidney stone. Girl, [30m] pull yourself together!!
