No no no no no my brain just remembered that I picked this book up because it said gut-wrenching story telling. And then I remembered that the book started with Sawyer thinking about checking up on someone after the attack.....through email......which might mean that this whole hanging out with Nick doesn't end happily but instead with her finding out he's dead or something. Or actually maybe they just reconnect idk
