- In exchange for getting to live free and/or see his parents, Liam is leading the PSFs to the large gathering of children so they can capture them and put them in the camps.
- This explains why the soldiers recognized him and his number right off the bat, how he managed the ONLY successful escape, why he asked how many kids are there, his behavior as they get closer, and how secretive he is.
