Honestly…..not loving it so far. And I really wanted to! After the awesome strong FMC vibes in the Tamora pierce books I’ve been rereading, hearing the FMC in this one describe how weak and small she is and how hard it is for her to climb a ladder or hold a sword made me roll my eyes. Also, the constant inner monologue of incomplete sentences and questions made me crazy! It might be a dnf for me honestly :/
