PORTABLE AEDS ARE STICK ONS!!!!!! AND WHY DIDNT YOU USE THEM EARLIER FFS!!!

There is no way a medical professional would not say “Clear!” if using manual paddles in a room full of non-medical personnel. Even portable AEDs say “Stand clear!”. Also unlikely that this would be the only place to do this. Where are your chest compressions? Why wasn’t there a portable, or wall-attached AED anywhere else on the ship?

Ohhh, I get it. She’s ageist. Listen babe, 21st century writing takes 21st century marketing. I found some phenomenal books through that type of marketing. Sure, I found some duds, but that’s what the marketing is for: to sell. Just because you can’t do it, doesn’t mean she’s not allowed to. She made her money and her career.

I have a feeling I’m not gonna enjoy this book.

…I’m sorry, what? A random ass line about 9/11? I mean, sure, iconic skyline and one does often imagine the Twin Towers as part of that skyline, but that segment is just disjointed as shit. I’m sure this is to show the age of the character, but that threw me off.
