I have reached a point in my life - I don't know if it's a phase or if I'm getting old or if it's just this book - where I can no longer read King after bedtime. "I ran, you dumb shit", Haggarty said, and burst into tears.

"What he saw then was terrible enough to make his worst imaginings of the thing in the cellar look like sweet dreams; what he saw destroyed his sanity in one clawing stroke "

... I am so glad I saved this book for a time where I'm actually living together with other people.
