The FMC just said “I have never loved a president more in my life” in response to George W. Bush addressing the nation on 9/11.

I was a sophomore in high school when the Twin Towers collapsed and even *I* knew that “Dubya” was a bumbling fool who didn’t actually win the election.

I am sooooo close to DNFing this book. Only curiosity about the mystery surrounding the MMC is keeping me going.

I get that the author probably thought they were ‘foreshadowing’ or something, but describing the World Trade Center Twin Towers as “exploding with color” in the morning light is soooooooo inappropriate
