It is actually unreal how much this starts as pure cut-up technique bullshit with no rhyme or reason to it but somehow it only devolves with time, with me going from being able to vaguely make out the vaguest and most unconscious of "plots" out of a chapter while it just melts into pure gibberish as it goes on

There's literally a paragraph in the chapter "Shuffle Cut" where Burroughs, in parenthesis, rambles for a bit about how he got the concept for this bit of the chapter from this or that sci-fi story in X volume of Y magazine and the notion of saying that in the novel itself, in parenthesis, is the funniest shit to me.
The novel remains in cut up gibberish mode, though it seems this may change by the next chapter.

This is like the third or fourth chapter made up of pure cut-up gibberish, incomprehensible nonsense. At the end of this one, though, Burroughs goes on about "the reality film" and I think it's literally meant to be a piece of film upon which reality is filmed on. I also wouldn't be shocked if Burroughs actually believed in such a thing, with how he writes about cameras and audio.

Was this chapter just about Bradly getting skinned alive while being fucked. Why has this novel devolved even more than where it already was.
