I just read their wedding night hoped he would not bed her also read a bit when she learned everything. Furthermore, I am just so mad and disappointed by him even though he regrets and supposedly loves her everything is tainted by his betrayal therefore he makes me nauseous as now,

also it took too long for them to get married cuz of her past and it makes me even more mad at him.

You're absolutely right! It took a my second reread for me to accept him. The main star of this book for me was Jilly, she was so strong and she stood her ground and her reaction to the betrayal made me tear up. I still wished she made him suffer more tbh.

I really really loved jilly to think this happened to her twice was so heartbreaking to read, I think the author should've kept from start till they get married shorter to include more groveling.
