Liking this a lot! It’s not so much fantasy as just a retelling of the history of a fictional land.

So far not sure where the main plot is going to go, big time jumps so major plots are finished quicker than I’d expect - and no real main character standing out.
But it’s a return to my style of genre so I’m happy.
