something tells me this shouldnt be my first DFW book. so far very vibrant prose that compels you to read it aloud. i re-read the prologue twice, the prose is just THAT sonically and visually evocative and it carries onto chapter two, but my pace slowed down bc i couldnt rly bring myself to care about sylvanshire on the plane (yet)... prolly skill issue tho. lemme read infinite jest first
