Her and “stepmom” fight and then Caleb saves the day and takes her on a date except in the middle of the town there’s an angel monument and the step mom is gutted, some dude that punched her but at a diner is dead and the guy who stole her stuff is headless at the foot of the statue. The town believes Darcy is the cause as her journal was in the thief’s pocket. Caleb rushes her out of there.

She makes friends with them, then runs into Caleb who gets her into his car, he loos like he’s dying by the time they reach a cabin and then she “hallucinates” that Caleb is acting weird because he tells her she feel getting out of the car and that she fell and hit her head.

Next day gets picked up from by the lawyer who’s acting strange to go to the funeral. Closed casket, and then she’s rudely asked to say a few words, says things she feels are out of her control and she he. She knocks the casket over. Father is clearly still alive looks at her with hatred and then burst into flames, everyone looks at her like she did it on purpose, but we just gonna walk past combusting!!!!

She goes to Fairydale, her money and bag is stolen. The lawyer meets her at the train station to bring her to the family house. When they get there she senses that they truly don’t want her there. After dinner they take her to the house the dad left her (key from package) that night she hears music playing from the creepy church that’s been locked away since the plague. Meets Caleb Hale.

So far chapters 1-7. Ok we got Darcy, lived in an orphanage because her mom passed and didn’t know who her dad is until she received a package in the mail. It stated her real father had passed and left her in the will. He included a key, money to get to Fairydale, and a goose broach that is the identical one that the sisters had kept for her at the orphanage.
