I am hating this. Full of anecdotes and contradictions. If I read the name of Lou Gahrig again, I throw it at the wall. Lou is presented as the epitome of discipline when to me looks more like someone who just did what he loved and brought it to extreme. This is not discipline, this is a toxic obsession. Particularly when studies have found associations between professional sports, repetitive trauma and ALS risk.
