I am so frustrated because it started so good !!! Wait, I just saw a spoiler from the end. Yeah… thank god I saw that. If everything that happened up until this point was not a reason enough, that is certainly cementing my decision to dnf.

Everytime I tell myself I’m gonna finish my (10) books that I’m technically currently reading, I end up starting another one and another one and so on.🫠🫠🫠

Sorry you didn't enjoy it it probably a good idea to dnf it i hope your next read is better hate manipulative and abusive mmc, probably why I dont do dark romance I am curious about how bad it is i don't think I will enjoy reading about a man manipulative on someone life choices and feelings

@Anna jane thank you my dear, hope that too. I wasn’t a big fan of this genre either, until I read Lights Out and I absolutely loved that one (to my surprise). And this one sounded promising, so I thought maybe I’ll also enjoy it. It started out amazing, like I was genuinely thinking that I would enjoy it so much, that’s why I’m so frustrated rn. Anyway, I think this is a sign I should really finish my books. :))))
I heard about lights out, and libby does have it, but it 20 weeks. Wait, so I still haven't read it. Poplar books do seem to always have longer wait for me it's a shame this is not as good I heard only good things about it I hope you manage to finish your books
