Notes:
(1) Okay, this second arc's pretty decent. I wouldn't say it's anything more than a disposable romp, but it's not the bleak and maudlin trash the series has hitherto been.
(2) It does bother me that Harley's much more effective at using tools for weapons than Red Tool. I mean, it's his gimmick.
- Though, he is just a Deadpool parody and thus meant to seem ridiculous.

Notes:
(1) This ends on a two-parter that pays off a subplot from earlier in the book and kind of tells Red Tool's origin story.
- Red Tool's retconned into very early Harley lore (the Conner/Palmiotti iteration) in a Geoff Johns sort of way, but in a way that's only hinted at.
- In other words, you've got to go back and read issue #3 of the 2014 series to make sense of it.

Notes:
(1) The first arc here's titled "Nether Regions," which tells you all you need to know about the humor here.
- In sum, there's a ton of jokes about the lower parts of the naked antagonist.
(2) We're introduced to Atlee, who I vaguely remember from Conner and Palmiotti's "Starfire."
- Ergo, they're the same universe. Which I guess means "Starfire" is noncanonical too.

Jayson
is starting

Notes:
(1) The series has been pretty dismal so far, and there aren't any signs it's going to get better.
- I'm not saying I regret starting it (the whole thing's required reading for me) but if things don't change then reaching the end of this Conner/Palmiotti run is going to be murder!
- I'm not exactly looking forward to reading Frank Tieri or Sam Humphries' runs either.
