Trying to figure out why I'm not enjoying this series as much as I'd hoped. I think it's because the characters and relationships haven't changed much since the beginning. Although there have been plot events that have bearing on the MCs' relationships, they snap back to the same dynamics and conflicts immediately afterwards. It's feeling somewhat stagnant. That said, I'm a sucker for all the angst.
