This is my first by Maupassant. I am sad because it's apparently second chance and the heroine hates the hero....I was 20% in and felt like they had barely talked. I'm hoping it turns around for me but this just doesn't seem to have a lot I love.

I wasn’t a fan of this one. I didn’t love the enemies aspect and thought the reasons for her wanting a divorce were farfetched. I’d definitely try another by this author though, I think it was just personal trope disconnect for me.
