@bri dostoevsky is regarded as one of the best for a reason 🙂↕️ i have been imagining how he would react to people in the 1860s being like “that raskolnikov does kinda have a point” (slamming his head repeatedly against a wall, annoyed that his blatant critique of radical 1860s movements/ways of thoughts was being turned around on him) and it is making me giggle… anyways i thought this was about a descent into madness but this man has been fucking insane since AT LEAST 3 months before this book started
