I have beef. How can you continue being friends with someone like that? I know he mentioned that he deserves to die or something to that nature but… how can you let him into your house with your kid and wife there? I already had issues with Asakawa being an asshat to his wife, but now I must say he’s also a horrible judge of character.
Maybe I’m supposed to hate these dudes? Books good tho!

Idiot. Leaves the videotape out in the open where of course his wife can see it? These dudes don’t pay attention to jack shit lol!!They legit make me so angry and I still can’t get over this absolute piece of shit “best friend”!! That aside I’m loving this book and I know that I’m prolly SUPPOSED to be pissed at these characters. It’s working!

Just finished part one and omg. How has it taken me this long to read? I’ve watched the films but the book is supremely better. Asakawa is kind of a dick to his wife but he’s probably a better detective than a husband. Also I forget this was written in 91. But that aside, his character is super interesting!
