This book is making me so fucking upset that I might have to DNF. There’s misogyny all over this book. I guess it’s my fault for not doing more research before reading this but there are also some disgusting and insensitive historical references in there. Women do not exist to be a vehicle or object in men’s lives but clearly murakami doesn’t know this bc he writes with his dick.
