katie I feel like this book poses a lot of questions about power + violence and people who are often victims of violence becoming perpetrators of it and what that does to them and whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing—without really offering any interesting answers. Or maybe I just think some of them aren’t really questions worth asking. But I do like this line
