It's picked up a little bit. At one point, the police seem aware of an affair, but it wasn't mentioned during any of the interviews with suspects. Then, a a couple of chapters later, it's mentioned as just having been discovered. So, some inconsistency in timeline going on. I'll finish the book, but I really don't care for any of the characters and the story just plods along.
