There’s flashes of an interesting story here, but too much time is devoted to the lengthy fight scenes to the point where it derails everything else

God these fight scenes are going on forever and I’m BORED! Half of the book so far has been entirely too lengthy descriptions of fight scenes

Love that Giles is referred to as handsome in his first appearance in this. Damn right he is!!!
