Again, I’m just not liking any of these people, but especially Maria. You marry some rich guy and think that’s going to solve all your problems. Murder your almost-lover and learn none of the rules of becoming a vampire and then be like “whoops I guess I shouldn’t have done that?” You murder your husband and take none of his money with you? Whatever….

I’m liking the book so far, and I know Maria is young, but what did she expect???? She’s like that chick that wrote an article about “age gap relationships” that was really her bragging about how she “beat the system” by marrying a rich guy. But in both cases, they traded their autonomy and the chance of a pleasant life for wealth. Anyways, I hope she kills her husband lol
