Manga is very demanding and the toll it takes on its artist have never been explored more so than in this book. Artist’s/writer’s, health problems, family issues, falling out of love with the work itself, life in general. But nothing worth doing is easy, right? I really did like this manga so much! I’ll definitely read the mangaka’s other work and maybe one day reread it again.

Mr. Shiozawa is such a perfect editor (and human being overall). He is patient, persistent and understanding. I love his occasional quotes and his ability to understand birds is such a fun detail. The care and love he has for manga and the process of making it is just heartwarming. I love how different each editor is and that essentially all it takes to be a good one is be kind.
