The book really highlighted the struggles of mental health. It was a slow progression of the depression. The side characters didn’t understand why he did things and were forgiving when he explained the reasoning behind his actions. To the point that one went out of his way to make sure that Jordan actually got help.

If the flow of the story was better it would be a better read.
