Oh no. Noah is one of those kids who is the annoying hipster type. Those that hate all new things and vintage is the best. I LOVE vintage but give the modern a chance.

Part Two: If it's possible to insert gift into these progress updates, mine would probably look close to the nope face. I hate books that are all about nostalgia "porn" or books all about throwing back as if the present is unworthy of admiration. This is what the books feel like so far, and it's not really the David Arnold books that I've fallen in love with... I want to love this, but so far... it's hard.

Anyone who has to tell you that they are complex is a pretentious asshole. I don't make the rules. That's just the rule.

I hate to say this. I REALLY HATE TO SAY THIS, but I'm not feeling this book at all. I wouldn't say that I'm hating it, because it's too soon to say that. However, I'm not liking where this is going. It feels like one big throwback book with each page being filled with references to something that our main character is too young to be alive for, and that's what makes him quirky... It's almost... very YA typical. :|
