The link between misogyny and the lack of male self confidence, the need for made up superiority in order to have self confidence so as to justify one's actions, is an incredibly powerful link and I love how Wolf explained it. Such in important piece of feminist literature! And I love how the connection between women of the 19th century and poverty was analysed.
