Of course there had to be strict Christian arguments…definitely will be knocking my rating down. Not that I don’t believe spirituality is important when discussing consciousness, but when a scientist or philosopher makes arguments for a specific religion only, it shows me their beliefs on the matter are much less open-minded than I think is necessary for such a topic.

So this guy believes people on the autism spectrum are incapable of love, but agrees hydranencephalic patients are fully conscious human beings capable of all emotions…right…

Imagine going to med school to become a neurosurgeon and then, as a practicing neurosurgeon, not understanding the functionality and mechanics of the procedures you’re performing…like, I’m sorry, what?
