I've lost count of how many times these pages have made me cry so far. and put the book down and go scribble inspiration for my own essays. and come back and read more, and tear up again. rinse repeat.

I don't need to finish this to know it is going to stay one of my favorite things I've ever read. Mohr made me laugh then cry in the First. Three. Pages.
This is what I want to do. This whole book is going to make me feel like the Cheryl Strayed essay The Love of My Life, that I cannot hide from the darkest corners of myself or the narrative and that the world is a better place for it. This is how I want to write.
