This quote might be one of the confusing things ive ever read. I will never understand what motivates morals in athiests when they dont believe in anything beyond our current world and reality.

I like this. It makes me think about how if we didnt have the quran to tell us clear restrictions, and only depending on human nature, how would we distinguish good from bad.

I think it means that following a rule only counts morally if you're following it with the intention of following it. So like the same as how in islam if you bete3mely sadaqa bas neyetek msh rabena then it doesn't count
