She-Hulk chose the wrong circus to train at!
The Ringmaster, leader of the Circus of Crime hypnotises Hulk's cousin.
Then asks for her origins?
That’s before the resident ‘makeup wizard’ transforms her in Glamazonia!
All to get the circus’ crowds loose change…
A talking ‘gorilla’ helps snap SH out of it (for his own villain group) and she learns it was all a test!
A bit odd but entertaining.

Jen’s first case back as a lawyer! (And more meta humour.)
Father Christmas is involved??
Well, Jen isn’t convinced that Nick St Christopher is the jolly ol’ man himself but surely, the reindeer dung left in her office would!
Anyway, the case was just ‘framing for the real story’…
More silly fun!
Plus, a few issues now hint Jen may have a crush on Hercules.

I think it’s really cool how Byrne is using characters/villains that haven't been seen for a while…
That being said, he’s using characters I don’t know and so am less invested in these stories.
Anyway, She-Hulk becomes furry and is almost the alien Abominable Snowman’s wife…
All end’s well for Jen and the truckers who give the hero a shiny green car to fly home in!

I think it’s really cool how Byrne is using characters/villains that haven't been seen for a while…

Issue #6 -
Gotta be honest, I was not expecting a space adventure from She-Hulk. At least this early in her own mag.
This also has the least amount of meta joking. And one of the most convoluted tales I’ve heard…
Apparently, aliens need truck drivers and there’s a diner in space…
I’d never read (nor heard of) US. Archer and co so I was a little lost.

Issue #5 -
This takes the idea of a parent tryna protect their kids from what’s on the TV too far!
Doctor Bong, and She-Hulk questions why she got stuck with him and not someone like Doctor Doom, somehow created a way to make programs more realistic. And is also able to enter the TV!
Which is why Jen was almost trapped but she plays by her own rules!
Kinda random, still funny plus brought back an old foe.

What a great concept to use the readers to change quicker or to step between panels to travel somewhere faster!
Old Golden Age hero, Blonde Phantom, now known as Weezi wants Jen to get a job with her boss, Towers to ‘stay in the comics’!
There’s a fight with Stilt-Man Jen wants to wrap up quickly, with only 4 pages left and there’s hints at plans made to use She-Hulk…

Spidey’s senses lead him right to Mysterio…
We missed their fight but it looked messy!
She-Hulk doesn’t have a head!??
Bc Nagan plans to use her body for his teammate, Chondu.
Which happens, even after Spidey (somehow) found the Headmen’s lab!
Chondu’s NOT happy! He’d LOVE SMs bod but apparently he didn’t even have Jen’s…
The Headmen are arrested & the heroes walk away with a joke.

Literal notes from DeFalco! They were hilarious, whether or not they really were from the editor.
Jen is NOT happy getting stuck with the Toadmen but she soon comes to realise they’re just little men in rubber masks!
The whole fake fleet (that almost made John & Bob quit) was orchestrated by… Mysterio!
Not for his own plans but for the Headmen!
Who want to perform transplant surgery…
