Listened to this book for 2 nights to fall asleep. To my surprise I really thoroughly enjoyed it. It is hard to describe without it sounding so very basic. The author does a great job explaining what she understands grit to be. It is more about small consistent actions driven towards an ending compass philosophy. Grit is not doing forcing something you hate- it is consistently chipping away in the pursuit a passion
