The Library Policeman - 3.5 stars
A real page turner. Great story about how children are exploited and harmed by adults, especially those who are supposed to be looking out for them and how repression will affect almost every aspect of your life. Wasn’t a huge fan of how the lady librarian villain turned out to be.

Another Stephen King self-insert about a writer. I love an unreliable narrator and a slow descent into madness, but the ending was completely predictable, even if there was a tiny twist at the end that I enjoyed. Maybe the point of the climax was to be predictable though and the real journey was the descent. Even with the predictability, the ending was a real page turner.

Great characters that pulled on your heartstrings. I’m a sucker for anything about time and appreciating the present.

A blind little girl waking up alone on a flight where all the passengers have disappeared is truly the scariest thing I’ve ever read
